Microduck Studio for iPhone and iPad

Your Microduck.
Your next idea.

Read its policies. Write a motion. Measure what it does in physics. An independent app for your Microduck adventures.

Requires Apple's free TestFlight app. There is no App Store release yet, and no date to give you for one.

Make a move.
See what happens.

A place to explore the little robot you own, or are waiting for. Look inside a trained policy, build a motion, then put it through a physics bench.

Start on your phone. Bring your own bench when you are ready to measure.

Get to know Studio

Room to experiment.

From the network that drives a duck to the motion you make your own. Here is what you can explore in Studio.

Policies

Load a trained .onnx, see what is inside it, and check whether it is one of Pollen's. Blend two into a third, or search one's weights on a bench, keep what comes out, and publish it to Hugging Face where every other phone's Community list can find it.

Motions

Write a motion keyframe by keyframe, or describe it in words and let a language model draft it. Every angle it writes is checked against the robot's own joint travel before you see it.

The bench

A phone has no physics engine. Point the app at a machine that does and it will run a policy or a motion properly, then tell you how often it worked rather than whether it looked good once. Put a network of your own on it under its own name and steer by it.

Challenges

Two published challenges, both open, both unmet. Score an entrant on the same grid the published numbers were measured on, edit it, and score it again.

The Lab

A life size duck on your floor in AR, synthesised duck calls, soccer, and a room capture that writes real scene geometry.

Evaluations

A run is an anecdote. Pick one of four presets, the thing being evaluated and a bench, and get back a log in inspect-robots' own format that somebody else can open and check.

Nobody has the hardware yet. Pollen Robotics' first Microduck deliveries are around Christmas 2026. Everything here runs against a trained policy on your phone, a physics bench on your own network, or a recorded motion. Nothing on this site is talking to a robot. The app can find a duck over Bluetooth and ask what it is, and with a small bridge running on the robot's own computer it can put a policy file on that computer's disk. It cannot drive one, and it says so on every screen where it matters.

Teach it
with paper.

Duck Cards are a free deck you print and cut out. Lay a row on the table, act it out, then run the same row in Studio.

Every card is named in Studio's own words, and the format is open for anyone who wants to build a reader.

Meet Duck Cards

Get the app, set up your bench, or read the code. Everything is public.
